IN A THRILLING basketball match held last weekend, the Sol Plaatje University (SPU) women’s team emerged victorious, defeating the Greenpan Wolves and earning their first win of the season.

The highly-anticipated game at the Maloof Skate Plaza showcased the determination and skill of both teams, but it was the SPU team who ultimately claimed the hard-fought 48-16 victory.
