Man falls to his death

THE POLICE have opened an inquest docket after a 26-year-old man fell to his death at the RC Elliot Hall in Galeshewe on Monday.

Galeshewe police spokesperson Captain Bashoabile Kale said the incident occurred at around 8am.

“It is alleged the deceased and his two friends were stealing scrap metal from the derelict RC Elliot Hall when he slipped from the roof and plunged to his death. The two friends fled the scene after the incident. An inquest docket was opened and is being investigated by the Galeshewe police. The deceased was positively identified by his grandmother,” said Kale.
